This exquisitely detailed wooden spirit board is a functional piece of art that is visually captivating as well as practical. Created from 1/4-inch thick birch plywood, with high resolution laser engraved images, this talking board, "Nevermore", is sure to please both collectors and practicing mediums alike, adding a significant piece to one's home decor or parlor. The board possesses a traditional rectangular design similar to the original boards from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The artwork is heavily influenced by Victorian and Gothic styles. The board can be stained in the customer's choice of color, which is then weathered to give it an antique, well-used appearance. The accompanying planchette is engraved in high detail as well, and available in a range of colors for even more customization. Both the board surface and planchette have been sanded very smooth and waxed to facilitate a flawless reading. Holiday ordering
During the Christmas holiday season, I can quickly become VERY busy; typically putting in 12 hour days in order to make holiday shipping deadlines.
Please plan ahead - I begin taking Christmas orders in late August, but due to workload, I will close the shop to further made-to-order requests the first week of December. Ready to ship items remain listed and ship as stated in their listing.
Shipping times
In the case of any custom or Made To Order item, I try very hard to meet the listed production/ship time for the listed item. However, I am a one-man shop, and the handcrafted nature of the work, particularly during busy periods, can cause delays. If you require your item by a specific date, please inquire first.
