Book Box: "Chronicles of the Dovahkiin"; Laser-Engraved w/ Skyrim-themed Art, Handcrafted Wooden Case, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, US Letter-sized

A handcrafted wooden case created to resemble an ancient book, complete with a magnetic closure and velvet-lined interior and decorated with highly detailed artwork from the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim! Books play an important role in the Elder Scrolls series of games, making this box a perfectly themed gift for all those devoted citizens of Skyrim out there - whether Imperial, Stormcloak, or just an adventurer making their own legend. A fantastic addition to any bookshelf, this book-box is capable of holding standard 8.5x11-inch sheets of paper (US Letter size) within its confines, with still enough space to allow for easy removal and handling of the contents.

Created from layers of 1/8-inch birch plywood, with a laser-engraved and hand painted Seal of Akatosh on the front cover, numerous icons from the game around the page edges, as well as a labeled binding edge (see Personalization) and a large Dragon icon engraved on the back cover. Within, a detailed map of the Province of Skyrim adorns the inside cover/lid. Three sides of the book box walls are hand stained and inked to resemble the pages of an old weathered book. This box is very resilient and durable, with double layers that lend greatly to its overall appearance as well as its structural integrity. The top is hinged with a clever integrated wooden hinge system, and as an added classic touch, the interior is lined in jeweler's velvet as further protection for any items stored within. Powerful N52 magnets keep the lid securely closed.

• CUSTOMIZATIONS AVAILABLE: Selectable stain color for the book box binding edge and the front/back covers. In all creations, the 3 page edges of the box will be stained and inked to resemble the pages of an old book. Samples of stain color can be found on the chart supplied in the Photos; colors are limited to those listed in the drop-down selectors. Metallic color for the front cover medallion is typically up to the artist, in complement to the stain color selected - but requests for a specific metallic hue are welcomed - please message me!
Additionally, customers may request a personalized label on the binding edge of the box, in a font featured in the game (Balgruf, Daedra, Dovahzul, or Skyrim - see examples in Photos). Use the Personalization box to request your desired book title; if no title is given, the label will appear as the photo example, which reads "Chronicles of the Dovahkiin" in the Dovahzul font.

Velvet color is selected by the creator and will be complementary to the stain color selected for the box, as well as availability. Typically for this creation, the color is black and/or deep (blood) red.
