This set of Elder Futhark runes is perfect for a beginner learning rune divination or someone wishing to own a small, easily portable and uniquely decorative set. Created from quality birch ply and laser-engraved with exquisite high DPI detail, this set will make an excellent gift for anyone interested in divination magic and/or Scandinavian lore.

• MEASUREMENTS: Case 6x6x.75 inches [LxHxW], Runes 1.0x.625x.125 inches (completed/assembled product)
• CUSTOM OPTIONS: Colorful stain colors to accent the case and runes, as displayed on the chart located in the Photos. Runes color will match the accent stain, and in all cases, the deep golden yellow background (Golden Wheat) will highlight the decorative art on the top, while the woodgrain-textured components will be stained in a rich, dark oil stain, at the discretion of the artist.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
The case and rune components have been precisely cut and decorated with a high-powered laser engraver. The parts are hand assembled using a cyanoacrylate glue specifically formulated for wood, creating an incredibly strong bond. The case has a inventive twist-lock design to close the top panel to the base, keeping the runes secure in their 'nests'. Jeweler's velvet, matching in color to the selected accent stain, lines the top panel underside. A satin lacquer protects the box and individual rune surfaces.

Holiday ordering

When I first found this listing, I was immediately obsessed and knew I'd purchase it soon. Not only did the wonderful seller, Jack, send me a nice message updating me on shipping, it arrived two days before the originally projected day. It was meant to get here Saturday, but here it is Thursday! :D I was immediately absolutely floored by the craftsmanship, the details, the colors, and the ingenuity of the rune box and how the runes are delicately nestled in their own little grooves. I chose eggplant for the color, and very much feel I made the correct choice for my own preferences. The way the box can be locked and unlocked so simply was a detail that scratched a little itch in my brain - so satisfying. If you are looking for a beautiful, very portable, and unusual set of runes, Jack has knocked this one out of the park!
