Protect and transport your RPG character miniature and favorite gaming dice with this beautiful and functional dice vault/caddy. This "Tome of Heroes" is a sliding book box format, made of resilient birch plywood, precision cut with laser technology, and assembled and decorated by hand. Each tome may be customized to indicate a player character's class and race by use of highly detailed, engraved and painted 'medallions' affixed to the outer shell. The sliding interior 'drawer' features a removable storage tray, allowing for a compartment within to roll your next save or Nat20! The drawer magnetizes to the frame when closed, keeping the items within stored securely. The Tome of Heroes is sure to last many game nights, and many campaigns to come!

This is a MADE TO ORDER item, requiring approximately 2 weeks for completion. Pictures provided are for example of style only; your tome will made to your specifications, based on the available options. Dice and minis featured in the pictures are NOT included.

• MEASUREMENTS: 7x5x2 inches [LxWxH] (completed/assembled product); Dice storage compartments will accommodate most regular-sized, 'standard' dice. Please contact me if you intend to store sharp-edge resin dice within the tray, so that I may increase the size of the compartments to compensate for the slightly larger size.

When ordering, please use the drop-down options selectors for the desired case colors (Frame, Drawer & Tray), referring to the stains chart located in the Photos*. Use the Personalization Box to indicate which Character Class and Race emblem, as well as the metallic color of the emblems.

*A note about stain colors: MinWax stains are oil-based, allowing for maximum wood grain character to show through the selected color. SamaN brand stains are water based, and not as transparent, though definitive grain character will show through the color, even Black. It has been my experience, in using the two brands together, that whichever case components one wishes to resemble natural wood, use MinWax brand; the SamaN brand stains work excellently as a complementing accent, as represented in the product example photos (MinWax 'Honey' for the Drawer & Tray, SamaN 'Black' for the Frame).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
RPG character class-themed "Tome of Heroes" dice caddy / campaign case, with ample storage space for extra dice and/or (most) PC miniatures. It's method of construction makes for a very durable creation, certain to last for many gaming sessions! Created from 1/8-inch thick birch plywood, the components have been precisely cut and decorated with a high-powered laser engraver; the parts are then hand assembled using a cyanoacrylate glue specifically formulated for wood, creating an incredibly strong bond. The character class and race medallions are installed on the two opposing sides of the outer shell, with the class medallion typically on the 'top' (open side) panel. A smaller class medallion is installed on the frame edge. The metallic color details on the Tome's character emblems are attained by several building layers of acrylic, ink washes, and finally a drybrush technique. A satin lacquer protects the interior and exterior surfaces, and EVA foam and felt line the interior storage spaces. Felt color is typically selected by the creator, in complement to the selected stain colors.
